Who is eligible?

Consumer products from a Brand or a House Brand across unlimited categories (Beauty, Personal Care, Skin Care, Health, Baby, F&B, Home appliances, electronics...)

Products that are considered NEW, e.g. launched within 24 months preceding the Awards. For instance, for the 2025 Awards, the product launch date must be between 01/01/2023 and 31/12/2024

Products offering an innovation whether in design, function, offering, formulation or usefulness.

A 4-step process

1 - PRODUCT SUBMISSION

Fill-up the entry form online and agree to Product of The Year Terms & Conditions

2 - CONSUMER SURVEY

  • All particpating products will be evaluated against their competitors in a digital perception survey among consumers.
  • The study will assess the products of each category, and identify the winners based on the PTS parameters [Product Total Score] Innovation, Attractiveness & Purchase Intent.This research will be activated by Cint, a global software leader in digital insights and research technology.
  • Winners and participants will both receive the survey reports related to their respective categories, with valuable insights and data.

3 - PRODUCT TESTING

A home based trial is organised for paricipating products in partnership with Try & Review. The product testing part is optional and not always retained depending on the product category.

4 - SURVEY ANALYSIS & WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT

  • The results from the consumer research + product testing (if applicable) will be combined to determine the winners in each product category. Finally, results will be validated by Deloitte, an independent audit company to determine the winners.
  • Winners will be announced and celebrated at the Product of the Year Awards Night Ceremony. 
  • The winners in each category are granted a one-year license to use the Product of the Year logo on all communication materials and media channels.
